Here are some new and important features added to the demo:
New Features:
- New Track Added - A new track "Desert" has been added to the game. The track introduces more obstacles on the road which offers a new experience for the player.
- Added Oncoming Traffic - The player will now have the opportunity to drive on the opposite side of the road (depending on the level) into oncoming traffic which adds a new set of dynamics to the game.
- Added a Save and Load System - A progress system has been implemented to save and load tracks and vehicles the player unlocks.
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved a bug where players could drive through the walls.
- Addressed an issue where UI elements were displaying incorrect information.
Performance Improvements:
- Optimized and refactored scripts to improve performance.
What's Next?
Since new levels are already in development, the goal right now is to complete all 5 tracks. However, there are still many features to add and fix before the alpha phase is finished.
